This exciting town centre regeneration project will bring new life and activity to Gravesend with mixed-use developments across two important sites close to the high street, river and station.
St George's will include retail, leisure, office and hotel accommodation, as well as much-needed new homes for people looking to live in central Gravesend. The project includes an extensive refurbishment and extension of a rebranded St George’s Shopping Centre. This will enhance the physical environment and invigorate the retail and leisure offer within the town centre.
The Charter will bring new life and activity to Gravesend with 242 new homes in a key sustainable town centre location. The proposal has been carefully designed with forms of architecture that respond to the unique context. A considered layout of buildings defined by quality landscaping will provide an accessible and improved network of routes and spaces, knitting back together this integral part of Gravesend.
