Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing in the Golden Triangle

Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing in the Golden Triangle

Description

Three new laboratory facility buildings will be constructed at the former CRUK biotherapeutics facility near Potters Bar to create a state-of-the-art life science campus, reinforcing the A1M corridor as the prime manufacturing cluster in the UK and Europe. This facility will complement Reef’s plans for Stevenage.

Reef are working with operating partners on a new accelerator format which will assist start-ups and smaller companies to commercialise cell and gene therapies. The existing facility will be rectified and refurbished as part of a new highly sustainable development, with a focus on off-site modular construction and on-site renewable energies.

The development will continue to have a bias towards Cancer care and cures. CRUK will continue to play a significant role going forwards running two significant cancer research projects from the new facility once completed.
