COUNCIL JV PARTNERS:
LONDON BOROUGH OF
170,000 SQ FT,
Re-inventing the east end
Unloved and forgotten, a long leasehold of a vacant supermarket and car park was acquired with a view to regenerating the site and wider location with freeholder London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
The location and wider town centre and Roman Road market was the subject of an ambitious regeneration plan, including a reconfigured and increased public realm, new Roman Road market, new super market and car park, and new residential. The partnership repositioned Bow as the place to live.
